Advantages:· Eliminate the leveling layer: XPS boards are precisely milled or laminated, resulting in an extremely high surface flatness. It can be directly installed on concrete or masonry walls without the need for cement mortar leveling, providing a qualified and flat base surface directly.
- Easy installation: Very light, can be nailed and sawn. It can be fixed with special thermal insulation nails or structural adhesives, and no large lifting equipment is required.
- Adjustment error: When there is a slight unevenness in the structural wall, it can be leveled by adjusting the thickness of the gasket or bonding layer of the XPS board, which is more flexible than rigid keel.
Cutting off cold Bridges: As an inner lining layer, it can effectively prevent the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors. Prevent interior decorative panels (such as wood veneer and soft packaging) from getting moldy due to condensation and dew formation on the walls.
- Anti-condensation performance: The water absorption rate of XPS is extremely low (close to zero), and water vapor cannot penetrate. In damp areas or basements, it can protect the expensive outer decorative surface from moisture erosion.
- Enhance touch: Adding a layer of XPS behind the wall panels will give the wall a slightly elastic feel, and it also provides sound insulation and heat preservation, enhancing the comfort of the room.
